In 2018 I developed the editing style and structure for Formula 1's Season Promo films. Their aim was to heighten the excitement of the sport, and to reach out to a new, younger audience. We came up with a fast-paced and energetic editing style which we applied to each season promo. These promos were each edited in just 1 day following the race, so that they could go live quickly ahead of the next race. They were broadcast on TV channels across the world, as well as being seeded on all the F1 social channels. They received a great reception on social media, with fans praising the new style of editing. In 2020 I also worked on some launch films for the new season, which pushed the style into a new direction again.
